DataMirror's online backup service allows users to simply select files for backup online straight to our leading-edge data centre. The online backup service allows you to backup any file from your computer, or a combination of files. You can backup your 'My Documents' folder, an entire disk drive, your shared files, Itunes folder or a combination of all these. DataMirror online backup utilises Intell-Data backup technologies which check for file changes. After a more lengthy initial backup, or seed, our online backup service will only back up the changes that have occured to a file. This means that a relatively tiny amount of data needs to be backed up after the first seed has been planted. This means that DataMirror's online backup service is quick, efficient and highly effective. It allows you to encrypt your data with Blowfish encryption technologies (used by the US government and banks the world over) that ensure you are totally protected. The servers in our data centre are backed up continuously, so that you can be sure no data will be lost. In fact - DataMirror's online backup service even allows you this capability too - you can set up the backup service to monitor any folder and copy changes straight to the DataMirror server, instantly, automatically, and invisibly. The service will back up any file that is recognised by a Microsoft Windows operating system.
